Home sweet home

So Oliver came home yesterday. I flew to Chicago to get him. When I first saw him it was love at first sight. He was amazingly cute!!! I got to meet the breeders Cindy and Magda and play with the puppies for a while before having to leave.
Oliver did really well on his journey home. He cried a bit in the airport while in line (but he did better than most people in line -- some heavy complainers there!!) and he went through security like a champ! I did think his collar was setting off the metal detector so they made me take it off - turns out it was my cellphone in my pocket.
Matt met Oliver at the airport and they hit it off famously. We brought Oliver home and he was introduced to the yard and we discovered one of his favorite things is leaves. He loves to play with leaves and grass.
Inside, he found the rope toy immediately and started playing with that.
He ate a little bit but was really tired. He slept through the night and woke us up at 5:00 am (which is better than what I thought!).
